Central Plaza
Central Plaza skyscraper took over the Bank of China Tower in 1992 to become the tallest building in Asia, a record that was taken away in 1996 by Shung High Square, located in Shenzhen.
The skyscraper, designed by Dennis Lau and Ng Chu Man, measures 374 meters and is divided into 78 floors. It is currently the third tallest building in Hong Kong, only surpassed by the International Commerce Center and the Two International Finance Center.
Unlike 99% of the buildings, the Central Plaza has a triangular shaped plant to optimize the views of the bay.
In its upper part there is installed a needle of 102 meters of height.
The tallest church in the world
As a curiosity, the Central Plaza building has a church on the top floor. As it could not be otherwise, the "Sky City Church" is the highest church in the world.
If you want to attend the masses - the views make up for everything - you can do it every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
