Bank of China Tower
The Bank of China Tower was built in 1989 according to the plans of the Chinese architect Leoh Ming Pei. With an astonishing design and spectacular lighting, this building is for us one of the most beautiful in the world.
The Bank of China Tower is 367 meters high, has 72 floors and is constructed of aluminum and glass. When it finished its construction became the highest building of Asia, record that was maintained until 1992 when finished the construction of Central Plaza. It was also the first skyscraper outside of the United States to overcome the 300-meter barrier.
The Bank of China Tower, in addition to housing the bank's offices, is one of the most striking and representative buildings on the Hong Kong skyline. At night, it is next to the Two International Finance Center, one of the stars of the show Symphony of Lights.
